There is no parking available at The Barrowfields, Newquay or Exeter Castle. Please plan your travel accordingly.

Both cash and card will be accepted.

Please note The Cornish Proms is on grass, which means the surface may be uneven. 

While standard wheelchairs, mobility scooters, and prams are generally navigable on the grass, in adverse weather conditions, certain areas of the site may become muddy and more challenging.

Proms In the Castle is accessible on hard ground.

There is a disabled toilet available at both events. 

No rucksacks or backpacks larger than A4 size are permitted. Bag searches will be in operation at all entry points.

If you require a larger bag for medical reasons — for example, to carry medication, medical apparatus or food and drink required for a medical condition — please contact us in advance to request permission. Supporting documentation, such as a doctor’s letter or confirmation from the NHS app, may be required. Once approved, please show this confirmation email to security on entry.

Children aged 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over, who has their own ticket.

Children aged 2 and under can attend for free and do not require a ticket.

All other children must have a full-price ticket to enter the event.

The event will still go ahead if it is raining. Please note: umbrellas are not permitted as they can obstruct the view of others.

You can bring a camping chair with you to Proms In The Castle, there will be a designated area for you to sit. Please note this area is on a first come first serve basis.
